Some drainage problems can't be solved with a camera or a jetting machine. When a drain has completely collapsed, when the pipe is severely misaligned, or when there's major root damage deep in the ground, excavation is the only proper solution. Excavation sounds drastic, but it's often the most cost-effective long-term solution when a drain has fully collapsed or when repeated repairs on the same section are no longer viable. A properly installed new drain run will outlast the property — especially when we use modern HDPE or uPVC pipework. We'll always explore no-dig options first and only recommend excavation when it's genuinely the best solution. If we can fix it with relining, we will.
